I just wanted to re-affirm why I left.
DeviantArt is not what it once was: it's overgrown with epically hideous commercialisation.
It has no soul, and -- it's just not for me, not anymore.
Strange to think this site, and the people on it (congratulations Leah and Zane, you are the only alumnus from this website other than my boyfriend I still talk to) constituted the real epicenter of my existence.
Strange to think, too, that I met the two people that would forever influence my life -- Chase, and of course Morgan -- here. And that it was only four years ago.
Phillipe, that great dream I may never accomplish but am certainly going to die trying, got birthed here -- so did my partnership with Tiggstar, which changed the way I viewed the fandom and, in a way and through her drawings, the way I viewed myself.
But, as for now...
I might post things, I might not. Mostly I'm here to tell you the poems on this account will be probably (but not definitely: I'm pretty lazy) taken down very soon, as they have been consolidated into a book which, I'm happy to say, already my friends are buying copies of.
Oh, and about that. I self-published it, but...it's still a moment of epic triumph. Don't detract.
